After 3 and a bit decades sat behind a desk, I decided to take a break from the rat race.
How long for? Who knows. It may be permanent, it may be temporary, but I needed a change. Rather than carrying on sitting behind my desk festering, I decided to act upon the words of Mark Twain, “regret what you didn’t do, not what you did do“.
So what do I do with my time now its mine? First on my mind was try and articulate whatever my journey to what Life Two is as a kind of diary, so I could periodically review what had worked for me and what didn’t so that I could learn from my experiences. I’ve never written a diary before but had found in the last few years of work I had enjoyed writing reports and had spent more and more effort refining my output so something approximating something quite good (so I was told) so it made sense to me write more now. Whether it works only time will tell. If anyone finds what I have written of use to them, then all the better.
