It’s amazing to think that my last blog post was over 12 months ago despite my intention of writing more frequently than I had up to that point. I guess that I haven’t found the time is a good thing. I might embellish on what’s been occupying me in due course.

I have written about a few walks, most notably a series of 9 that constitute the West Highland Way, plus the first 4 stages of the GR11 Pyrenees footpath from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean. So the website hasn’t been entirely neglected.

the reason I feel compelled to write again now is that I am currently in Pamplona just about to start stages 5-8 of the GR11 so if you feel inclined to follow my progress I’ll endeavour to keep the walking section updated as I go.
