Having spent far too long sat behind a desk I realised that I hanker for being outdoors. Moreover, given I’ve spent most of my time looking at a computer screen my focus had necessarily become quite narrow. I wanted a broader perspective, which for me manifests itself as a ‘view’. Consequently I’m on a mission to get out and walk, looking for the best view I can. Sure, I’ve done plenty of walks in my time, but they’ve always been one here or one there. This site gives me the opportunity to chronicle everything I have done post ‘retirement’ and give a bit of structure to it while I’m doing it.

My aim is to show the walks off with words and pictures and finish up with the best ‘view’ I can. All images are taken by my trusty iPhone.
